CareerNiche Job Fair and Business Expo a Success!

The first annual CareerNiche Job Fair and Business Expo for Southwestern Ontario was a Great Success for Windsor and the Exhibitors at the Event on Thursday Jan. 21st. There were over 2000 job seekers in attendance and over 100 people attending the Business Expo are considering starting businesses and additional 250 people attended the Business Expo speaker series or visited the show. This was a great success for Windsor's Business Community.

We would like to thank the job seekers for attending and express that everyone that did not submit their resumes to Execusource staffing or LucasWorks! should consider emailing them into these companies. There were 400 resumes submitted to Execusource and many more to Accucaps and LucasWorks. While there were 2000 plus people at the show, many did not speak to a recruiter at all of the job fair booths, this means only 20% of the people have been informed about all the current or upcoming jobs! Many of the people did not approach the booths because of the long line-ups and did not apply to over 90 or so jobs present at the show. We strongly encourage people to send resumes to

We ask that all Windsorite jobseekers that did not notice those existing jobs to please contact CareerNiche and every company located in the event guide. We hope everyone understands that CareerNiche put this event on to help Windsor jobseekers and the door fee ensured the event could go forward as the government did not fund the show and it was a private sector initiative. This past week many individuals were already hired and interviewed as the result of this show and we expect many more throughout February.
